Project 2: Destroy the Icon Progress Pt. 1

 After watching the lecture videos for this week, I began working on my iconic image by layering a bunch of different layers and putting different transparencies on them. I also tried out a pattern on the second draft of red lips which I felt was very iconic Marilyn Monroe. All of the pictures and textures ended up falling into a red, pink and white color palette which best suits her feminine and classy look. The textures I choose to layer is also related to her life and time of life such as 50s diner and flowy white silk fabric.
